SUMMARY
Responsible for business development activities including identifying new market opportunities for products and services especially in industrial, hospitality, and resedential real estate . Researches competitive markets and identifies new opportunities and creates appropriate project organizations market share and competition. Develops and executes project business plan related to prospecting. Involved from the earliest stages of building project plan, which can start with developing ideas, establishing budgets, assessing the needs of the project and its users, and its impact on the surrounding areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs feasibility studies to evaluate current and potenital infrastructure, competitive pricing, permitting and operational requirements .
- Performs market analysis and provides recommendations on project strategy .
- Developing a highest and best use studies for proposed projects based on market research.
- Maintains current knowledge of external market trends, internal sale strategies and operational capabilities.
- Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of each proposed project;
- Consulting with other professionals about the design of each proposed project;
- Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and concept design proposals;
- Advising on the feasibility and keeping within budgets and deadlines for each proposed project;
- Preparing tender documents for consultants and contractors;
- Following up on control tools for each project from start to finish;
- Ensuring that the different impact issues of the proposed project are managed.
- Developing project concept design and drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications.
- Liaising with other professionals about the feasibility of a proposed project, including constraining factors such as Municipality legislation, environmental impact and project budget.
- Managing consultants such as project engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural designers.
- Writing and critically reviewing reports, proposals, applications and contracts.
- Determining the materials to be used and specifying the requirements for each proposed project.
- Making sure the project is running according to schedule and budget.
