Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager - Al Bandar Trading Company ( A Division of Landmark Group)

The public relations manager at LM will play a key role within Marketing, developing brand awareness

and securing national press coverage for the Landmark Brand and its business initiatives.



This is a highly entrepreneurial senior position within the company.



Responsibilities include:

• Planning, developing and implementing PR Strategies with Dubai Corporate Office and the three regions.

• Successfully manage and facilitate a successful and timely completion of public relations team tasks and accountabilities.

• Preparing and supervising the production of press releases, media announcements, publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs

• Executing targeted public relations campaigns to generate feature articles, event listings, and related publicity for events, promotions, and destination activities/amenities targeting publicity in print, TV, radio and online outlets.

• Support in providing material to maintaining and updating information relating to KSA Landmark on the organization’s website

• Manage the relationship with KSA PR Agency to maximize return on investment

• Fostering community relations through events such as back to school, and other school calendar occasions and through involvement in community initiatives

• Liaising with colleagues in Dubai and key spokespeople to generate news and announcements

• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media on local Landmark news

• Coordinating messaging with third media partners and arranging media interviews.

• Planning press conferences and creative maneuvers when appropriate to drive coverage.

• Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours. Coordinate media attendance and management at events

• Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities

• Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email

• Utilizing social media to generate publicity, word of mouth and grow THC’s overall social media presence.

• Utilize tools and technology including digital media and blogging to support day to day marketing Devising and coordinating photo opportunities

• Monitor and periodically report on all media coverage of the education industry and related topics

• Tracking coverage and measuring overall efforts, delivering daily/weekly/monthly agreed PR Media Scan Reports and comprehensive reports monthly (including estimated number of impressions and media value)

• Coordinate and plan all corporate social responsibility programs for Landmark. Develop a CSR annual plan and report on progress on monthly bases to stakeholders.

• Manage and motivate the PR/CSR Team to be productive and be self-motivated.

• Takes the lead in emergency disaster/crisis management communication.
