Sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base; managing staff. Commercial responsibility to seek out, negotiate and secure projects and customers within the assigned geographical area to achieve the set budget & Gross Profit. Commercial responsibility of approved annual budget with predefined gross margin % and net profit.
Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Ensure that the targets for turnover, profitability and outstanding days are realized
Review commercial performance of individual sales staff on a monthly basis
Execute approved commercial plans within the set time limits and cost budgets and ensure that the costs are controlled within set budgets
Report commercial and financial performance as per agreed forms and schedule to the GSM
Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed
