Description
Reporting to the Country General Manager and the Regional Finance Director, the Finance Director will be managing the Finance Department for Saudi Arabia, where your primary responsibilities are to oversee the financial reporting and analysis of the business, and to manage project cost controlling and collections. In addition to this, you will also be required to perform the following duties:
* Manage the financial planning and analysis, and budget management function
* Lead the annual Opex and Capex budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
* Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, in accordance with company policies
* Manage and further develop the project / job costing procedures, and liaising with all relevant departments on the progress of projects, and making necessary recommendations to the General Manager
* Manage the collections process from customers with the aim of optimizing the use of working capital
* Lead the Development of SAP Finance implementation
* Identify key drivers of the business and the KPIs for measuring operational performance
* Ensure a smooth transition of Accounting duties to a newly set up shared service function
* Plus other tasks, as required by your position.
Profile
Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate who can bring relevant skills to the organisation:
* Bi-lingual Arabic and English communication - Mandatory
* You will be Degree qualified in either Accounting, Economics or Business, from a recognised University
* CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualifications are preferred
* Prior experience in a finance leadership position, in a project or construction business in Saudi Arabia -preferably a multinational organisation
* Strong budgeting and cost management skills, with proven ability to identify problems early and remedy them
* Extensive staff management experience, and the ability to lead and develop a team.
* Experience in working with a diverse workforce, with the ability to collaborate with a broad range of personalities
