Description The Application Specialist resides in the System Integration and Validation group and assists in product validation and testing of software prior to its release.
Because of the expert domain knowledge, the Application Specialist also provides support and assistance to customers, AGFA Sales and Services Units and development centers. He/she creates training materials and delivers application trainings about AGFA RIS and PACS offerings to customers and AGFA colleagues in the region. These trainings include upgrade trainings, train-the-trainer programs, end-use trainings and configuration trainings and can be performed on AFGA premises or on customer’s site. In addition, he/she is asked to perform pre-sales consultancy and demonstrations to potential customers on conferences, or on customers site. Through the support channels, the application specialist is also available to provide expert support for specific expert matters.
