1-Review and quality assure all services and work-products delivered by the department/unit in accordance with established policies and procedures
2-Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance or coaching to direct reports in performing their delegated duties
3-Ensure that all direct reports acquire the competencies for effective performance in their roles, through appropriate training and professional development
4-Coordinate, and attend "Investors' Conferences" especially to present Investments of the company to the existing/prospective shareholders.
5-Develop and recommend investment strategies, discuss and seek approval for them from the VP Investment
6-Brief fund and investment managers on the investment strategy and actively monitor their delivery/compliance with the agreed investment parameters
7-Provide investment consultants with briefings and information about investment objectives, in order to obtain recommendations on investment strategy, manager selection and Zakat allocations
8-Develop initiatives to improve asset quality and diversity instruments, in order to control risk and solvency
9-Advise financial analysts on complex analyses, judgements and evaluations
