The Senior Network infrastructure consultant will focus mainly on serving clients with planning, designing, and implementing converged network and security infrastructures. The consultant will work with clients to understand key business objectives and drivers, and align network capabilities with those requirements to develop an overall network, security, and collaboration strategy. This will involve working with clients and network hardware and service vendors to engineer the network infrastructure and security solution based on client guidelines and requirements. Implementation activities involve building and configuring the network infrastructure and security solution components, and migrating to the new environment. The specific role responsibilities will include:
- Perform assessments of existing client network infrastructures and document "as-is" environments
- Develop network detailed designs in the following areas: Data (LAN, WAN and Data Center) and Security.
- Implement highly available network infrastructures solutions (Hands-on engineering, configuration, testing, operations support).
