JOB PURPOSE:
To assess Talent Management and succession planning manager in identifying the critical/key positions of ARB and potential individuals who can be groomed to take over these positions through a structured talent assessment exercise. The jobholder is also responsible in assessing the talent management and succession planning manager in managing the succession planning exercise and the succession pipeline. Career development plans for identified successors.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Talent Assessment and Succession Planning
•Identify ARB Critical / Key roles per Group
•Work closely with Talent Development Program Manager to design and launch est in class talent assessment tools and frameworks.
•Assess and identify ARB talent pipeline working closely with the business/functional heads
•Develop and maintain a best in-class Succession Planning Program linked with he talent assessment exercise for all the key roles from designing to implementation to include business needs analysis, risk assessment and analysis, competency-based profiling, business sustainability
•Develop and implement career development plans for all talent pipeline to include the best in class 70-20-10 development module with on-the-job learning(through attachments, rotations, secondments etc), coaching & mentoring, and technical and soft skills classroom training.
•Continuously benchmark the ARN program elements to market best practices and create processes and systems to achieve results and accountability
•Ensures the succession planning data quality and confidentiality in TM records in coordination with business across the regions and ARB countries.
•Cross support within Talent Management Departmen.
Key Resources Development
•Build world-class leadership & capabilities for the future growth of ARB employees.
•Contribute to the overall development training and development strategy covering general skills programs, high-potential programs and other leadership programs.
•Map career paths within the organization, providing visibility to employees regarding advancement and growth opportunities.
•Provide career development counseling to employees as a team member of talent management.
Competencies Management
•Key stakeholder in developing competency matrix for ARB and inclusion into Performance Management process.
Business Communication
•Facilitate workshops internally and externally to review current talent pipeline as well contributes to reduce/avoid costs and to deliver positive business value through better management of talent.
•Lead sessions to assess for talent bench strength/potential and ensure readiness of future leadership capability and capacity.
•Liaise with management members to ensure the implementation of succession management and career development plans and tracks progress .
