- Planning, and leading team members on yard activities in maximizing efficiency, and effectiveness of the logistics facility, considering commercial and operational factors in ensuring compliance with safety standards and container operations planning management.
- Responsible for the day to day coordination with the agents, port operations, and terminal management.
- To ensure that the yard plan / objective for the day was executed.
- Responsible in fulfilling the daily duty schedule roster of his staff and as well his staff work assignments.
- To ensure that all EDI data and stow plan for yard planning is received in advance.
- To liaise with the stevedoring teams on problems / issues with particular yard or consignments.
- Assisting their immediate supervisor with the preparation of any the yard plan/s, update yard details in the system, and assisting the planning team.
- To ensure that the yard planner has prepared all required crane work list and printed all tally sheets.
- Keeping of close tracking of incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Ensure that all controllers are managing the equipment as per the planned schedule.
- Deal with the day to day staff problems and roster issues.
