Job Summary:
1. Responsible for performing professional Electrical engineering duties as required.
2. Plan, organize, direct and perform difficult and complex Electrical activities and evaluate results ensuring that objectives and project requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Consultant and advise the construction manager, E & I and/or project manager on the nature of electrical material required and the viable alternatives and so on.
- Oversee the construction of new installation like generators, Switchgears, MCC, MOV, etc
- Checking Compliance with statutory laws & international Standards
- Perform assignments independently or with minimal supervision.
- Detect and solve problems.
- Ensure that the crews are always supplied with enough information, drawings, sketches, materials and consumables to meet and improve target dates, including but not limited to, ensuring highest level of safety and quality control to client’s requirements and other logistics.
- Ensure efficiency and good productivity of the working crews.
- Implement and ensure safety.
- Lead several teams o electrical supervisors, foremen, electricians and cable joiners to install:
● Transformers, HV, MV & LV switchgears, motor control centers and other electrical equipment.
● Cable trays, underground and above ground conduits.
● Bus ducts.
● Underground and aboveground HV, MV & LV cables.
● Earthing systems.
● Miscellaneous electrical systems.
- Any other duty/task as assigned/requested by the Construction Manager E & I and/or the project manager.
