The Security Incident Analyst will handle information security incidents and assist the Security Incident Management Section Head in the day to day operations in accordance with the strategy and directions set forth. Perform incident analysis and lead to the resolution of the Incidents reported/identified. Draft incident reports and identify root causes. This role will also involve collection and preserving evidences and performing forensic investigation.
1. Assist the Incident Management Section head in the planning, preparing and implementation of incident management strategy.
2. Perform analysis of incidents
3. Participate in evidence collection and forensic investigation.
4. Perform analysis of data collected for investigation or incident resolution.
5. Assist in determining the severity of incident,prioritize their resolution, and initiate incident management processes.
6. Assist in providing relevant data to support investigation or evidence gathering.
7. Assist in Ensuring maintenance of manual and automated audit trail records to ensure that all pertinent systems activity is properly recorded.
8. Coordinate monitoring and response activities with 3rd party under the direction of the section head.
