We are working with a leading residential development company as they continue to expand and develop their operations across KSA.
There is an urgent requirement for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Jeddah, they will be responsible for all activities related to cost and Bill of Quantity, also for managing proper cost control procedures throughout the project development phases.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Perform all activities related to cost control throughout the project development phases (design, tendering and construction).
•Measure required quantities (Bill of Quantity) from drawings, sketches, and specifications prepared by external consultancy firm/agency to assist in preparation of the tender documents (Bid Document) for tendering.
•Provide Technical support to the Procurement & Contracts Management Manager whenever required in reviewing the project cost estimate/control and suggest modifications, improvements and/or enhancements that can be performed in terms of material cost to ensure delivering the project successfully.
•Assess all activities related to measuring and evaluating all variations in external parties deliverables in the Project Management & Operations department and ensure that proper and appropriate actions are in place.
•Monitor all purchased material cost and ensure that all purchases are within the approved budget.
