• Work with other engineering professionals, senior drillers, laboratory technicians / technical assistants to ensure projects are completed in accordance with provided guidelines and meet client’s specifications.
• Apply standard engineering practices and techniques in specific situations, adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations through a series of detailed steps or processes.
• Use prescribed methods to perform project tasks under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal and report preparation.
• Supervise large geotechnical projects and liaison with client representatives on site.
• Write geotechnical reports and carry out engineering calculations.
• Work on engineering software used in the geotechnical department.
• Carry out geophysical and pile load tests.
• Classification of soil and rock samples based on ASTM procedures.
