The Service Engineer shall service various machinery sold by APGS in the power generation, oil & gas industries. He should be able to analyze and service equipment machinery such as generator sets, air compressors, pumps, transformers and electrical panels.
Duties and Responsibility
Understands and comply to petroleum companies such as Aramco documentations and non-material requirements.
Repair and service all the machinery and equipment supplied by APGS as described above.
Plan the servicing work in advance and discuss with the customers the preventative maintenance schedule.
Work in team and delegate work amongst them so the work can be conducted in a fast pace.
Write detailed reports on all the work that is done on each machine.
Ensure that any parts that need replacement are timely ordered.
Work on improving the performance of the equipment supplied by APGS.
Conduct safety checks on all the machines and equipment
Keep an inventory of equipment required for the repair work.
Inspect all the machines and make reports for the management that whether or not new machines are required.
