Mechanical Engineer perform all of the following duties:
- Prepare material cost and timing estimates, knowledge of specifications for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Design mechanical components, systems and equipment.
- Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
- Prepare time schedule, planning for his project.
- Supervise team leaders, foremen, technicians, and work teams.
- Mechanical engineer may specialize in mechanical design for residential, commercial or industrial installations.
