JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the marketing functions with the overall aim of building profitable business plans in order to maximize short and long term market share, sales volume and profit of the company, as well as to develop a strong marketing organization.



Description:

Vision, Mission, and Strategy

 Develop the broad strategy and ensures that the vision, mission and strategy is cascaded down to the USC Marketing to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration of all functional strategies across the Group.

 Ensure that USC Marketing strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of Group.



Leadership: Lead the effective achievement of USC Marketing.

Budgets and Plans:  Oversee the consolidation and recommend the USC Marketing budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget.



Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:  Develop and oversee the implementation of USC Marketing policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of USC Marketing activity.



Projects: Lead and guide the project management team in the planning, organizing, management and control of various projects.

Organization Structure:  Define an optimum organization structure for the Marketing department so that resources are optimally utilized.
