Location: King Fahd Road, Riyadh, KSA
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with Centre directors to understand and formulate computational infrastructure requirements and project-specific analysis needs.
• Plan and carry out research and computer system administration and management accordance with the project aims and timeframes, in collaboration with members of the group and collaborators of the project.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience and Masters Degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline including a substantial natural language processing and/or text mining programming component.
Or
• 5-10 years experience after a BSc (or equivalent) in a computer science or related discipline with substantial experience in natural language processing and/or text mining programming.
Experience and Knowledge:
• Experience in system installation and management of Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience in databases installation and management.
• Experience in Cloud-based system management.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to adapt to new ideas and learn new techniques and their practical application.
• Ability to interact successfully with others to learn and teach new skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise own work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated individual interested in developing new ideas and concepts.
