KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Codes new applications and includes appropriate error handlers, abnormal exits, and others to meet Core Requirements
Resolves application and programming errors (debugging and research)
Resolves design and interface problems
Provides application knowledge support
Understands application software technology, development methods and tools and their applicability to business problems
Ensures that a unit test environment is available for any destructive testing or that individual unit testing will not impact other team members’ work and communicates to development Team members if they are impacted
Ensures a stable test environment has been established with the required deliverables for Model Office testing
identify the impact of business driven application development and enhancement projects
Developing follow-on action plan from test results
Evaluating compliance of change requests with IT policies, standards and procedures.
Evaluate new technologies and off the shelf applications
Contributes to the writing and evaluation of Requests for Proposals pertaining to software projects
Provide impact analysis of application change requests
Lead the development and implementation of a process to consult and communicate with users to determine and clarify their current and future operational business needs, and ensure all requests are fully documented.
Ensures that application software packages and developed applications are installed, meet specifications, operate efficiently, and are error free
