We are a recruitment agency from Spain, and currently we are looking for a Principal Architect - for Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for an important IT and Security Saudi company.
The details of the position are: Job purpose:
Play the role of an Execution Architect and act as the lead architectural & design authority for large IT Solutions, with clear and extreme focus on end-to-end solution delivery. Responsible for Architecture/Design governance at Program Level and should insure that right architecture practices/guidelines/best-practices are met in the proposed Solution Architecture. Need to manage out-sourced as well as in-sourced engagements as part of the entire solution landscape to be delivered. Ensures that the proposed solution meets the client's requirements, is architecturally complete, all NFRs are satisfied and all architectural risks are quantified. Must have diverse experience in bespoke developments, COTS implementations (such as CRM, Case Management, BI Solutions, etc.) and massive/complex Integration. Should be well versed with latest technologies across industry verticals as well as technology verticals. Support client engagements with in-depth portfolio knowledge and technical implementation experience. Should be able to mentor the team and advise the client on design and implementation issues, hence needs to be highly focused on the delivery.
Solution Development and Delivery
Being responsible for the overall solution delivery on schedule & integrity of the delivered solution Architecting solution using appropriate technology by keeping functional and non-functional requirements as well as the technology constraints in consideration Drives design and implementation for major components of solution & solution frameworks Ensures delivered architecture/design/implementation meets functional & non-functional requirements as well as relevant architecture standards/guidelines/best practices Leading architectural and/or Design and/or solution implementation reviews, especially in outsourced engagements. Presenting the Solution to internal and external stakeholders, through presentations and documents. Accountable and Responsible for delivering the Architecture & Design documentation Analyzing and evaluating client's requirements and architecting/designing those requirements into a competitive solution Providing cost elements and resource estimations as well as solution options/approaches for different requirements under the program portfolio Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions Thoroughly understanding IT Service offerings and service agreements and making architectural decisions about how solutions should be designed and implemented Provides status reports on project progress and outstanding issues.
