Job Purpose:
To manage the Direct Sales Team’s day-to-day business activities and implement the marketing and sales plans in conjunction with the sales and gross margin budget to achieve the targets set for Direct Sales in the area.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and proposes business development plans, yearly budget and executes the approved plans within the set time limit and budgets.
2. Coordinates with the Project Sales Consultant team on a regular basis to ensure active follow-up of all projects in the Project database.
3. Monitors, controls and reviews the performance of all individual direct sales staff through regular discussion, meetings, reports and visits to the customers.
4. Ensures that the targets for turnover, profitability, KPI’s (DSO & DOI) are realized and costs are controlled within the set budget.
5. Maintains a healthy working atmosphere and team spirit within Direct Sales and to ensure the continuity of ideal business relationship with all Direct Sales customers.
6. Updates the Area Manager with information on Direct Sales activities through both informal communications and regular formal correspondences and meetings.
7. Discusses and guides the direct sales staff at the beginning of each week to plan the visits for that particular week and reports the visit plans to the Area Manager with a weekly planner.
8. Participates in selecting and appointing new staff within the needs, operating budget of the branch and conducts performance appraisals on a yearly basis.
