Job Purpose: Pre sales Engineer managing the partnership with a 3rd party supplier, ensuring the appropriate level of support is being provided to clients and Installation Engineers. Requires an intimate knowledge of the IT infrastructure and backbone cabling
Main Activities:
•Provide technical sales support and application design of Low Current & Home Automation Systems, services & solutions and support sales representatives in the field or meeting.
•Design and prepare bill of quantities for comprehensive Low Current & Security Systems for residential business, commercial & industrial clients, etc.
•Provide expert level technical design and assistance to sales team/presales team in the field of Low Current & Home Automation Systems.
•Plan, design Low Current & Home Automation Systems.
•Provide guidance, direction and assistance in the resolution of customer issues, presales team and sales team.
•Fully responsible on bill of quantity and proposals prepared.
•Determine minimum specifications, equipment, and system features by applying accepted engineering practices in order create a written documentation set, commercial offer and technical submittal.
•Produce a professional design at minimal time.
•Prepare Requests for Pricing (RFP’s) and Requests for Information (RFI’s) responses.
•Provide estimated cost breakdown for installation, answer technical/site requirement and supervise implementation.
•Ensure complete customer satisfaction which should result from proficient design and honest commitment.
•Preparing Technical submittals for projects designed and support if required in team members technical submittals.
•Contact vendor and manufacturer and follow up on requested quotes and designs.
•Monitoring of user support tickets raised & actively problem solving to increase customer satisfaction.
•Act as primary contact for all technical issues.
•Conducting off-site and on-site testing.
•Represent the company & product with the necessary level of professional conduct and presentation
Experience:
•Previously managed supplier relationships/support contracts.
•Experience advising and reporting to senior management.
•Minimum two years experience in home automation, low current or similar field.
Knowledge:
•Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or similar. E

•Auto CAD E
•Knowledge in Engineering codes and standards. E
Special Requirements:
•Arabic language-fluent. E
•English-working knowledge. D
•Travel. E
