Sales Support Specialist - IKEA_Careers

Customers:

- I am responsible for the administration of the store range in accordance with the country range decision and store range classification, and secure that all relevant parameters are updated to allow for the article to be replenished and sold in the store.

- I am responsible for following up on the agreed range for each store to ensure it is stocked and/or offered in the stores, and for highlighting to the service office sales function and/or store the need for corrective any action.

- I am the main point of contact for the stores and sales leaders in my Country for questions related to range administration.

- I support and challenge my relevant partners to secure the preconditions are set for a timely sales start of new articles in the store range.

- I support the sales leader with a forecast alignment for strategic articles, by highlighting discrepancies between central and country/store forecasts.

- I am responsible for the range administration in the Country range management system for new and rebuilt stores.



Commercial/Business:

- Following up on the actual store ranges to ensure they are in-line with the store range classification and Country range agreement and highlight deviations to the sales department so corrective action can be taken.

- Providing range change planning information (e.g. store range classification, commercial

classification, IKEA of Sweden initial forecasts, central customer delivery range) to sales leaders and

stores, to support a smooth range change planning process.

- Supporting the range change implementation in the stores, by supporting sales in the creation of

initial news and discontinued split on store level, and providing the stores with range change

information.

- Working with the sales leaders and customer delivery centre to agree on the most commercial sell-out approach of discontinued articles offered via the central customer delivery channel in order to maximize sales and safeguard gross margin.

- Supporting the sales leaders with the allocation of global or regional overstock quantities to the stores and monitoring the sales in each store are in line with the planned sales pace. I address the need for action with the sales leaders when there are deviations.

- Monitoring and following up sales goals for key articles identified in the business agreement between IKEA of Sweden and retail sales. I inform the sales leaders so they can initiate actions with the stores, when there are deviations.
