Senior Technical Support - SAMACO Automotive Career Site

Major Duties and Responsibilities



 Second tier customer support, troubleshooting and providing solutions for the front line support folks, providing guidance and training when required

 Develop a deep understanding of company applications, and how to support them

 Answer helpdesk request tickets via web interface

 Address urgent issues quickly

 Prepare new servers, optimize existing servers and perform server surveillance, monitoring and maintenance

 Monitor Network and Internet infrastructure

 Design and implement software images

 Distribute computers and printers according to assigned schedule

 Test and evaluate new technology

 Install antivirus and spam protection and manage security appliances and solutions

 Data Center Security

 Codify frequent issues into documented or scripted processes

 Document required bugfixes, end-user feature improvements, and operations feature improvements

 Document exceptions and fixes for inclusion into core product

 Act as customer advocate

 Provide continuous feedback to customers

 Assists in capacity planning of computers





Note: this job description shall include, but is not necessarily limited to the above duties. May temporarily perform other duties assigned to maintain operations and services.
