1. Assist in the site training program by deciding what happens when to ensure smooth operational efficiency.
2. Assist in the administration of the site training plan to achieve goals and targets in a timely manner in support of the overall training initiative(s) of the organisation
3. Deliver sound knowledge of training and development processes and associated legislative and regulatory requirements by ensuring compliance of all employee training and development activities and processes with Operational Excellence Standards (OES) and regulatory agencies requirements.
4. Champion Continuous Improvement Facilitation at all organisational levels with internal and external customers in the delivery of training to a high standard of competence and achievement.
5. Ensure the site training program is provisioned to fully achieve targets and standards by acting as a career developer in support of retention, promotion and training of the program participants.
6. Help maintain external accreditation for the site’s training programmes, wherever appropriate.
7. Negotiate in an appropriate manner and where necessary with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and customers in support of the department goals and targets.
8. Analyse results of training activities, programs and schedules to produce results against agreed targets and implementing change as required to solve problems by providing workable intelligent solutions.
9. Produce reports, analysis, evaluations in support of the site training program and take appropriate action to unplug bottlenecks and forestall future problems in the pursuit of department and organisational goals.
