The Group Sales Engineer role is to manage the sales in allocated geographic area. The person will be responsible for actively driving and managing the evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as a key technical advisor and product advocate. He will articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, as well as identifying technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction in all stages of sales process. He will assist Senior Management in preparing Annual marketing plan, specifically advising on accurate forecasts for each product and territory.
1. Fulfilling technical requirements of existing and new customer. Dealing with different type of questions and requests about technical and engineering information.
2. Manage the sales administration functions, operational performance reporting, advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating
an environment where customer and after sales services can thrive.
3. Develop business plan, covering sales, revenue, control expenses, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the HGISC / ISCO presence throughout KSA.
4. Assist Senior Management in preparing Annual marketing plan, specifically advising on accurate forecasts for each product and territory, realistic costs of
operating the sales force, and promotional programs.
5. Prepare cost reduction and operations improvements plans by following company policies, plan, and obtain customers approval.
6. Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales call schedule.
7. Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs and wants.
8. Research and approach potential new sales accounts.
9. Identify products need, extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use.
10. Identify market opportunities by indentifying consumer requirements, defining market, competitor’s share, competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, switch the
threats into opportunities.
11. Updates professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, trade shows, and seminars to promote products. Reading professional
publications, maintaining personal networks of professional societies.
