Developing route alignment and track layout design, typical cross sections, drainage, trackworks using the latest dedicated software (Bentley, AutoCAD)• Performing assessments of track design requirements for passenger and freight railways (lines, stations, yards), codes and specifications (AREMA, UIC, etc), elaboration of internal design standards and/or processes• Review designs from design/ project management consultants, subcontractors • Conducting preparation, checking and/or approval of feasibility studies, design technical reports, cost estimates, track work procurement and installation/construction contract documents
