Job Function
Well versed for all types of mechanical works such as, erection of all refinery equipment, fabrication and erection, repair of storage tanks, piping (under ground and above ground) site fabricated equipment (such as heaters) industrial steel structures, earth grading, leveling road works, equipment foundation, building works, plumbing, oily water sewage, storm water and sanitary drainage (New works and repair works). Knowledgeable with relevant Engineering standards and codes.Work Required -Takes care of carpentry shop and painting work of buildings and refinery equipment. -Can read and interpret any engineering drawing and execute the job as per drawing. -Can read and interpret contract document administer and execute the works of both capital projects and service contracts as per contract specification, and further corresponds with contractors on technical problems and with other refinery departments for co-ordination purposes. -Inspect and accept materials at site based on test certificates. -Should be familiar with all types of civil / mechanical repair works in the refinery and thorough with relevant industry standards, codes and practices. -Attends call out after working hours.
