Will have profound technical understanding of communications disciplines, and be able to use knowledge to design, develop and deliver solutions, as well as provide technical assistance and guidance to others.
- Provide electrical design, technical analysis and/or analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
- Supervise engineer staff, designers and support personnel. Gives direction and coordination of electrical design for large scale processing plant project.
- Candidates must have experience of site supervision of all electrical systems on large construction projects such as lighting, cabling, LV, MV and HV power. Candidates will also have excellent electrical building services design experience.
- Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers and clients. Includes attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
- Estimating material, construction, labor costs and project timescales.
- Responsible for testing installation, overseeing inspection and maintenance programs. Ensure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations.
- Feasibility study, Design (FEED), BID Procurement (participation).
- Construction (in terms of interfacing with the construction team/detailed engineering phase)
- Implementation, Pre-commissioning/commissioning
- Any other duties as assigned.
