About your Job:
As a Cargo Officer, you will monitor, supervise, direct and control all related activities, cargo personnel and equipment engaged in Cargo Warehousing and Operations on a shift basis. You will directly monitor related performance reports including deficiencies, incidents, etc, and disseminate important information to the staff and Cargo Management.
You will juggle resources dependent on where the operational demand is strongest and will resolve anticipated issues before they became obstacles. You will Verify, through spot-checks, that all cargo practices support corporate Security and Safety standards at all times.
About You:
You will have a minimum Bachelor's degree, or equivalent level of education, and have worked a minimum of 5 years in a Cargo Operational capacity.
You will have hte ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflows, while having strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members. Proven exposure to Dangerous Goods, Live Animals and a thorough understanding of Load Control is essential. You must be technically savvy with expert level MS Office capability. A strong communicator is necessary, fluency in English and Arabic is highly preferred.
