* Develops and articulates the financial controls, policies, processes and procedures for the Finance Group.
* Responsible for creating an internal control system within Arasco business processes as well as updating an existing control system. This may entail expensive collaboration with Strategic Business Units (SBU) and/or Corporate Units. Communication of the results in meetings, written procedures and presentations are also expected.
* Responsible for improving the integrity of the financial reporting system by designing an internal control system that improve managerial and financial reporting.
* Participates in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) business meetings as finance representative to ensure that the SLA governance is established and that the corporate guiltiness are followed in the SLA agreements between the Corporate and SBUs
* Collaborates with SBUs in developing and executing continuous Improvement road map
* Conducts workshops with the finance unit heads to develop, review and enhance the required policies and procedures.
* Sets standards of Finance excellence based on leading practices internally and externally and ensuring their implementation.
* Establishes processes and practices to monitor the Finance organizations performance through governing mechanisms.
* Updates the policies and procedures in accordance with any regulation changes or any development in the best practices.
* Recommends financial consolidation process in coordination with the Financial Reporting Manager.
* Submits formal reports to the Group Finance Senior Manager on the adequacy of the Finance Group policies and internal controls, and remedial action required to overcome any weaknesses or abiding to these policies and procedures.
* Reports to the Group Finance Senior Manager any violations of the finance policies and procedures.
