Monitor and control the complete transmission and distribution system. Coordinate with major industrial organizations to maintain reliability and quality of Marafiq power systems.
This role operates under the direction of Engineer, Power Dispatch. The jobholder is accountable for supervising the day-to-day functions of power generation in the Power Station. Excellent communication skills are needed for this job, as he is required to monitor the hotline between major industrial companies and Marafiq, and respond to customer complaints.
The jobholder is exposed to extra high voltage.
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Relevant operational or maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Experience of power dispatch operations.
Previous power generation experience is an advantage.
Previous supervisory/man-management experience.
Project management experience.
Job-Specific Skills:
Detailed and expert process knowledge power dispatch operations.
Sound understanding of all relevant plant and equipment.
Understanding of plant capability.
Knowledge of forecasting software applications.
Sound understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance techniques and practices.
